Ryan has over 30 years of experience in public accounting and works with closely held businesses and their owners and shareholders to provide tax and accounting guidance. He also has a special interest in estate and trust tax planning and is certified to perform business valuations.
In 1997, he graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and later obtained his CPA certification in 1999. He began his career in 1995 with Johnson and Koivisto, PLLC as an intern (which later became Johnson Goff, PLLC) before partnering with his father Paul to open Koivisto and Koivisto, P.C. in 2002. After partnering with his father for many years, Ryan merged with Deb Adams and Barb Kvittem-Barr to form KAKB, PLLC in 2020, and finally, came full circle back to his roots merging KAKB, PLLC with Johnson Goff, PLLC in 2023.
Ryan, who enjoys outdoor activities such as golf, running and hiking, deeply values family. He is married to Michele, they have 10 children and a growing number of grandchildren. Ryan is active in his church and has spent numerous years serving on the church board of directors.
